♪ ♫ Who lives in a pineapple under the sea ?♫ ♪

It seems that Sponge Bob is a real trend setter;
pineapples are turning up everywhere these days!

Their logo is even a pineapple!

and the Pièce de résistance ...

Read recently on houzz.com

"Now that I live in the south, I've picked up on some funny etiquette customs. Did you know that people used to put a pineapple on their mantles for a party? The pineapple is a symbol of welcoming. Thus, when the hosts were ready for everyone to get the heck out of their house, instead of yawning loudly, they would simply remove the pineapple from the mantle and all of the guests would know it was time to vamoose!"

Orange Ya Gonna Comment?

According to Changing Minds the color orange can evoke feelings of cheerfulness, low cost, affordability, enthusiasm, stimulation, and creativity.
Kandinsky believed that the color orange communicates radiant, healthy, and serious  qualities.

Low Cost? I think not!

This guy's neighbors were not feeling cheerful when
he decided to go orange.
 I guess it can be over stimulating eh?
I am much more enthusiastic about this application.

My uber-chic co worker Brooke has been in love with orange of late. Another of my distinguished colleagues absolutely detests it. I at this time am neutral about orange.

Tell me how you feel

Shed Some Light on the Matter

Thank you Sydnie for introducing me to :

"Buy a bunch of those battery-operated LED Everywhere lights for only $8.99 each. They're like little hockey pucks, with adhesive on the back. Put them under a console table, on top of a bookcase, or use them to backlight some interesting object on a shelf." -Libby Cameron
